Watching Valentine’s Day movies is the best way to spend my time with my loved ones and
I am always on a lookout for nice, slow and meaningful movies to watch.
I have so many “candidates” to share but I didn’t want to overwhelm you so here are my top ten handpicks for y’all.

Hitch (2005)
I watch this probably TOO MANY times that I could think of.
Will Smith plays a professional “date doctor” who makes a living teaching men
how to woo women falls for a hardened columnist (Eva Mendes… SO HOT!) while helping a shy accountant Kevin woo his boss Allegra.
The Ugly Truth (2009)
An uptight television producer takes control of a morning show segment
on modern relationships hosted by a misogynistic man.
Friends With Benefits (2011)
A young man and woman decide to take their friendship to the next level without becoming a couple,
but soon discover that adding sex only leads to complications.
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003)
*Excuse this fangirl moment* But seriously, you can’t miss any movie that Matthew McConaughey plays… *Ex
It talks about the two duo are making two extreme campaigns for their work projects:
How to make a woman fall in love with him in 10 days.”, and “How to Lose a Guy in 10 days.”
Then they meet in a bar shortly after the bet is made.
Gone With The Wind (1939)
Sometime I wish I was born in early 20s so I could meet my Clark Gable!
If you are a Hollywood fan you CANNOT miss this!

Roman Holiday (1939)
If you ever run out of ideas for what to watch, even not a Valentine’s Day night,
Audrey Hepburn would be my no-brainer choice. She is fun, elegant,
and feminine that I think every woman should learn from her.
It Happened One Night (1934)
I love how fast-paced this movie goes (usually old movies are hella long if you know what I mean),
the dialogues, plot and everything. It takes you back to the good old days,
when love is better left unsaid, written in words and paper.
The Red Shoes (1948)
This has been in my Watch list since forever and I finally get a chance to finish it
(was being hesitated because it involves musical & I am not a fan). It talks about dancer
Boris Lermontov and the triangle love with other two men. Artsy and incredibly Romantic.
In The Mood For Love (2001)
“They are in the mood for love, but not in the time and place for it.”
If you have not watched any of Wong Kar-wai’s film by now, this would be a great start.
It tells the story of Chow Mo-wan (Tony Leung) and Su Li-zhen (Maggie Cheung)
whose spouses have an affair together and who slowly develop feelings for each other.
Crazy Rich Asians (2018)
This movie reminds me of a typical plot from any K-drama you can find,
where the second generation millionaire
falls in love with an ordinary girl.
Of course there are many exaggerated scenes to make you cry and laugh as a Romance comedy.
It also sublimes the cultural contrast between a Westernized family and a traditional Asian family.
