I used to not liking the idea of wearing leather pants because I felt like they were too much for casual occasion. Like the picture in my head was “way too shiny”, “fabrics aren’t as comfy as cotton or jeans”. Now that I know, just like all other pants: all you need is a good pair of jeans. These are from Aritzia and I think I got them last Fall. (If you must know I am a huge fan of Aritzia that I think every girl should have them on their go-to shopping list, I personally prefer in-store shopping just for this brand, not only because their changing rooms are terrific, you would also be amazed by how good you would look even in their basic tees (Looking at product pictures it ‘s like going to a wine room and order milk… Not exaggerating I am that serious.) How was your Vday love? Mine was sweet and dedicated to chocolate. Depress and long rainy days did not kill my vibe going out and eating good. Though it was surprisingly sunny here in Seattle today! Got me even more excited (for FOODDD!)Been exploring Cali-like cafes and restaurants in the PNW. Here and now, Hot Cakes just checked off the list!I am not usually a huge fan of getting chocolate dessert because of its master level of sweetness. But oh well, who can ever say no to triple melted chocolate cake right? This was from the V-day’s special Menu called Spicy Molten Cake, pairing with a spoon of vanilla ice cream- HEAVENLY! Like oh my god. (I know I make A LOT weird sound when I am eating yummy food, yeah probably way too much)Just like some other things I like in life: If I like them, I will show with my 100% interest and intention. February is here… Who is ready for Mr Grey?I am SO SO SO in love with these cut-out booties from Roger Vivier ! They are super comfy and go with everything! I screamed out loud while I first saw them at the store, people were dissing so hard and started giving me a ‘that b*tch is crazy” dirty look. Lol BEHAVE Athena! I am always hyper so get used to it you people.😀😀😀 Rotisserie-cart style has always been my favorite dish. It reminds me of simpler time in middle school back home Hong Kong. We used to get the Satay (“Sate” in Malay) skewered fish balls after school all the time! At 7-11. Then I would lie about and eat another meal when I get home. (Asian moms always prepare dinner for the family and if they find out you eat junk food out of her sight, that’s a suicide mission right there)Now that no one is watching me I can eat whatever I want (Woop woop food baby alert). We’re all about the bodysuit right now because what’s better than a shirt that never rides up? Wearing a warm beige version under a sweater from Free People (Similar).  This year has gone by so quick and I am very grateful for what I have and the people I surrounded with. Just like picking out good avocados, when you found the perfect Olive green-not-too-soft ones, you keep them. Emerging from college to the people world, it was not easy for me at first. I was way too comfortable even though I always have big dreams in mind. I was crying like a baby and calling my mom to explode. Everyone has their moments right? I think that was it. Growing up, I rarely cry because I often find the solution than focusing on problems. But for the first time, Athena collapsed (Wait no… The first time I gave it to my totaled car. LOL).But oh well,  I have a very weird talent that I can self-produce happy dose so that didn’t last very long because I kept telling myself, by the end of the day, you’re still strong and pretty no matter what happened.Embrace the goods and the bads just because they both are parts of the journey on growing up. You wouldn’t know what’s good if you’ve never taste the bads right?Still a learner. Always a learner. My best friend asked me, how do you feel about being 21st? And I said, the strongest suit. Stay here and don’t crack😂.Here’s the secret magic to anti-aging and glowy skin. Ladies! In your twenties: Be selfish with your time, and all the aspects of you.It’s your selfish years so treat yourself. Be respectful. Love a lot, love a little. Dark shades in the book get a bad reputation for being snoozy, well it really depends on who is wearing (hello humblebrag). Wear your confidence out loud with mixed textures. I brought the sun and palm trees with me from my second hometown, Sacramento, California! These are two separate pieces from Sam & Lavi. And since the bottoms are fairly short that go 3/4 above the knee, I would say these are playsuits that fit for pool parties or beachside occasion. I’ve been obsessed with off-shoulder tops and I cannot enough of them! Cropped, belle-sleeved, collared, they are everywhere! I got too many of them that my friends start whining about me being too obsessed with my collar bones. (Yeah maybe I am a little) And I cannot argue with that.
